Northern Lights: late September through to late March.
Sightseeing: late May through mid-June, or anytime in September.
Whale Watching: April to October.
Good Weather: June and August.

Colored photocopy of your recent visa from other countries

Don't wait for money exchange when you land in Iceland. Better would be to get a foreign money travel card. Please remember that Icelandic currency is Icelandic Krona. It's next to impossible to get ISK in India.
4) Driving licenses
You need an international driver’s permit (IDP) to drive in Iceland. The license price costs from 1000 to 1500 INR.
5) Things to carry in Iceland
Please remember that Iceland is a cold and windy country. Don't get fooled into thinking that summers are hot. Your essential checklist can be the following items:
Pack thermals/long underwear
Replace 3-4 tops with 2 sweaters
Make one of your bottoms a necessary pair of black pants
Choose boots as your one shoe
Pack warm, lightweight socks
Accessorize with hats, gloves, and scarves
Choose your coat wisely
Don't forget chapstick and lotion
6) Landing at the airport
When you arrive in Iceland, please don't take a taxi as it can cost over a hundred dollars. If you would be staying in the city center during your visit, please select the bus service. The bus will take up to one hour to reach the hotel. People who are interested in car hire, they can do that at the airport quickly. Alcohol is expensive in Iceland and buying some can help you before your Icelandic tour starts.
7) Sightseeing package in Iceland
Most of the sightseeing places are away from Reykjavik and are free of cost. These are the main tourist attractions and can be visited by bus. We have mentioned Iceland’s most popular tourist destinations. The price suggested is for people travelling by bus depending on the company:
The Blue Lagoon: 6990 ISK TO 9900 ISK
The Golden Circle: 9000 ISK
The South Shore: 12000 ISK
Northern Lights: 6000 ISK
Reykjavik Sightseeing: FREE OF COST
8) Read the Icelandic Pledge
It's a small island, and we try our level best to make sure we can take care of it. Iceland is a small nation that relies on tourist income heavily. Please read our Icelandic pledge and follow it during your stay in Iceland. TAKE ICELANDIC PLEDGE
9) Flight back to India
Iceland has a small airport, and you need to go to the airport a little early if you need tax back from any purchase made by you during the visit. Icelandic souvenirs are expensive at the airport and they don't have a lot of choices also.
